How is GBP Management different from Local SEO?
Local SEO is the strategy layer. Keyword research, on-page optimization, citations, link signals and ranking work. GBP Management is the execution layer specifically for your Google Business Profile. Posts, photos, Q&A and ongoing profile housekeeping.
They work best together. Most of our clients run both. If you're only doing one, GBP Management is the bare minimum to stay competitive.
How often do you actually post?
Four times a month, one per week. Mix of offers, updates, events and product highlights. Google's algorithm cares about consistency more than frequency so weekly is the sweet spot.
Will this affect my Map Pack ranking?
Yes. Profile activity is one of the signals Google uses to decide who shows up in the 3-pack. Active profiles with regular posts, fresh photos and answered questions consistently outrank dormant ones in the same area.
That said, ranking isn't only about activity. Reviews, proximity and authority matter too. GBP Management handles the activity piece extremely well.
Do you handle review responses here too?
Reviews live under our Reputation service. They overlap with GBP, but managing review velocity and responses is a separate workflow with different tooling. Most clients bundle the two so we cover the whole profile.
Do I need to provide photos every month?
Nice to have, not required. If you can drop a few phone photos in a shared folder each month, great. If not, we work with what's on file and rotate seasonal updates so the profile stays fresh either way.
How long before I see impact?
Profile views and clicks usually move within the first 30 days as Google indexes the new activity. Map Pack ranking shifts take 60-90 days because Google moves slower on placement changes. By month three you'll have a clear before/after picture in the monthly report.
